What moves and what gets rebuilt
BuddyBoss extends the same WordPress users table and BuddyPress-compatible profile data, so members and their profile fields generally carry over directly when you move to BuddyPress or BuddyNext, without a CSV export.
BuddyBoss builds on BuddyPress-core-compatible activity and group tables, so activity streams and groups typically carry over in a same-site swap.
WPMediaVerse ships a stated importer specifically for BuddyBoss Media, so photo and video galleries have a direct, documented import path.
BuddyBoss's platform theme and page layouts are BuddyBoss-specific, so the front-end look and feel gets rebuilt in BuddyX, Reign or BuddyNext's own interface.
Passwords never move to a new WordPress installation. If you move to a brand-new site, members set a new password or use a magic link; if you stay on the same install, nothing changes for them.
